Scoring twice in his debut match with Nice, Balotelli seems to be performing much better than the days he was in Liverpool.

The 26-years old player moved to Liverpool in summer of 2014 for the price of £16m, but merely scored 4 goals and appeared 28 times for the club.

Soon, it became obvious that he did not fit Brendan Rodgers’s preferred play style, and fell out of favour in a short time. In last season, he was being loaned out to AC Milan.

Balotelli returned to Liverpool this summer but was immediately isolated and left out of the club’s pre season tour to US by the new coach, Jurgen Klopp.

He was also sidelined for other friendly matches, and at the last day of transfer season, Balotelli is transferred to French club Nice for for absolutely zero fee.

But he is currently doing great. Scoring twice during his debut match for Nice, as Nice beat Marseille 3-2. When asked about his feeling after the match regarding the move to Liverpool, Balotelli replied: “It was the worst mistake of my life.”

“Except from the fans who were always been fantastic with me, and the players who I had good rapport with, to be honest, I did not like the club.”

“I had two coaches, Brendan Rodgers and Jurgen Klopp. As people they did not gave me a good impression. I didn’t get along with them.”
