‘Don’t go to Leicester, they’re crap!’ – Gerrard’s advice to young Galaxy fan

The former Liverpool midfielder advised a Galaxy supporter to pick his old club, Barcelona or Real Madrid over the Foxes, suggesting they were not as good as one might think

LA Galaxy star Steven Gerrard might not be able to show his face around Leicester for some time, after bad-mouthing the Premier League champions to a young fan.

The former Liverpool midfielder took part in a ‘ride-along’ with the lucky Galaxy supporter, who grilled him on the big issues of the day.

And amid pearls of wisdom on the English weather, Zinedine Zidane and Landon Donovan, Gerrard was horrified when his guest stated he would love to play for the Foxes.

“Leicester?! Why?! What about Liverpool?” he exclaimed in astonishment.

“Or Barcelona, or Real Madrid, don’t go to Leicester, they’re crap!”

We will have to wait and see what Claudio Ranieri’s reaction to the video will be, although it might well reference the fact his “crap” club has one more Premier League title than Gerrard and Liverpool can boast.
