Argentine striker could be facing a 3 matches ban.

Sergio Agüero will challenge the decision of FA banning him 3 matches for his foul play. The Manchester City striker is given the ban retrospectively by FA after he knocked West Ham Winston Reid with elbow during last Sunday’s match.

In the incident itself, Reid can be seen holding his head in pain however referee Andre Marriner let Sergio Agüero go without any penalty.

Sergio Agüero is now given the time until Thursday 6pm to explain himself against the decision, which released after panel studied  and decided Agüero should have been given a red card to leave the field that day. A disciplinary speech will be given as well.

If Agüero is found guilty he could face 3 match ban, meaning that he could miss the important match against Manchester United. The other matches he could possibly miss is against Bournemouth on 17th September, and Swansea on 21 September.
