The Red Devils are ready to break the British transfer record paid for a player by making a massive offer for the highly-covered French international midfielder

Manchester United have made a massive £60 million bid for Juventus midfielder Paul Pogba, according to The Sun.

The France international remains one of the most highly-coveted players in the world, with Barcelona, Real Madrid and Paris Saint-Germain all heavily linked with a move for him.

United are said to be desperate to recapture the player they let leave in 2012 and the tabloid reports that they are looking to break the British record transfer fee to see him return to Old Trafford.

Jose Mourinho has apparently given the go-ahead for the Premier League side to smash the record fee they paid for Angel Di Maria two years ago to beat the likes of the European champions and the Spanish and French title holders to the signing of Pogba, though Juve are yet to respond to the offer.
