Rovers progress to EA Sports Cup semis

Shamrock Rovers are through to the semi-finals of the EA Sports Cup.

Dean Dillon’s late strike was enough to see off Longford Town at the quarter-final clash in Tallaght Stadium.

They join Cork City, Galway United and Dundalk in the penultimate stage of the competition.
