Portugal midfielder Adrien Silva who is part of the EURO Cup Champion team, has confirmed that he will be moving from Libson to Leicester City.
The midfielder said that he will leave Sporting Libson for Premier League on a alleged £21m transfer to Leicester City. He is most likely to follow his current Sporting team-mate Islam Slimani to join Leicester for 2015/16 Portuguese League runner-up, although there is no official confirmation from the club yet.
When asked about this Silva said: “Yes, I confirm to this proposal. Leicester is very interesting to me and this move will corresponds to my career goal.”
“After past 15 years at Sporting, this opportunity is something exceptional for me and can allow me to excel and impose myself in another championship, and also evolve myself in the Premier League, which is a stunning league.”
“I love Sporting and see it as my family, and I have dedicated myself here since I was 12 years old.”
“With Sporting I lived many moments which are the happiest of my life. I can say that I grew up with the club, but at 27 years old after so many years of loyalty, I think no want will want to criticize me for taking up this new challenge.”
