David Moyes says Sunderland are trying hard to strengthen their team as soon as possible after 2 consecutive defeats this season.
The Black Cats has a bad opening of 2-1 defeat in their latest two match, but coach David Moyes is confident that he will manage to sign more players before the transfer window close on 31 August.
“I will like to get a few signing in and we know what we want to do, we are working very hard on it.”
David Moyes is confident to add more players before transfer window end.
“Yes there are only eight more days to go but you have to remember I came in really late (to replace Sam Allardyce as manager). It was going to be difficult.”
Yann M’Vila’s midfielder Rubin Kazan is one of Sunderland’s transfer target, and Moyes is hoping defender Lamine Kone will remain with them.
He also spoke openly that Sunderland might spend their time in relegation for now. “I have told that it will be difficult. I am the sort of guy who being realistic and I like to tell it like it is.”
“But no, that is no I want the the team to be.”
“The fact of the matter is we need to make improvements, we need to bring more players in to add to the squad, and I have got a lot of work to do with the players.”
