Dundalk remain in control of the League of Ireland title race after getting the better of Shamrock Rovers tonight at the Tallaght Stadium.

After they were frustrated during the opening-half, the defending champions produced an improved second-half performance to claim a 3-0 win.

Goals from Brian Gartland, Dane Massey and Ciaran Kilduff sealed a deserved victory for Stephen Kenny’s side.
