Dusan Tadic was influential as Serbia made it four points from two FIFA World Cup European Qualifying Group D games with a comfortable 3-0 win over Moldova in Chisinau.
Filip Kostic, who scored in Serbia’s 2-2 draw with the Republic of Ireland in their Group D opener, put his side ahead in the 19th minute with an easy finish following good work by Tadic.
Kostic then hit the post before captain Branislav Ivanovic doubled Serbia’s lead in the 37th minute with a powerful far-post header from Tadic’s pinpoint cross following a short corner.
The impressive Tadic then wrapped things up with Serbia’s third goal just before the hour, the Southampton forward slotting in from near the penalty spot after a one-two with Aleksandar Katai to add to the goal he netted against Ireland.
