Cork City have moved back to within four points of league leaders Dundalk at the top of the Airtricity League Premier Division.

John Caulfield’s side have kept-up the pressure on the defending champions after a battling 1-0 win over Finn Harps tonight in Donegal.

Sean Maguire’s 69th-minute goal was enough for the Leesiders to take the points, despite finishing-out the game with just ten men after Steven Beattie was red carded.

Elsewhere, Bohemians were 1-0 winners over Wexford Youths.

Kurtis Byrne’s goal on the stroke of half-time was enough for the home side to take the honours at Dalymount Park.

Dundalk can restore their seven-point cushion tomorrow as they host Shamrock Rovers at Oriel Park.
