Jose Mourinho revealed that Zlatan Ibrahimovic will get more rest days during International break than rest of the Man Utd squad.
Ibrahimovic who performed terrifically currently will get 4 days to rest, while the rest of the team will only get two days.
The 34 years old striker deserved these extra rest day. Since his debut for Manchester United, he has been playing every minute of the matches for Red Devils in all 3 league games.
Coach Mourinho said that: “At 34 years old, this is the age you need to rest. I cannot expect him to play all 70 matches of the season. So I gave others who are not selected for the national teams 2 days rest, and I give Zlatan 4 days.”
“I give holidays depending on the situation. He has been playing for every match so far, and every minute of the match as well. That is 360 minutes minimum for 4 matches. So for this big guy, I give him four days off.”
