Chelsea are in it’s final stage to sign Fiorentina’s Marcos Alonso!

The deal is not agreed yet but it is expected to be a minimum £24m bid to recruit Alonso.

The 25 years old player has spent 3 seasons with Bolton, from 2010 to 2013, and later a 6 months loan to Sunderland in 2014.

Since then, Alonso has spent 2 full seasons with Fiorentina, with a fantastic 75 appearances under his belt, and helping the club to finish at fifth place in the last Serie A.

The deal should be sealed before the Wednesday deadline. Should the deal go through without any hiccups, Alonso will be available for his Chelsea debut against Swansea at the Liberty Stadium on Sunday September 11.
