Shkodran Mustafi and Lucas Perez are closing their move to Arsenal. Both of them flew to Arsenal on Friday for medical check-up before the transfer window deadline.
The central defender of Valencia, Mustafi will sign a 5-years deal with Arsenal after weeks of negotiations between two clubs. The final agreed price is £35m.
Mustafi, 24, joined Valencia in August 2014, has been playing as youngster on Everton and Sampdoria. On the other hand, Perez’s transfer is pretty much confirmed as well.

Perez is ready to move to Arsenal as well.
Arsene Wenger said “Will we sign anyone before the window closes? I am 99% confident. I wished that we all done our business before the last few days of the transfer window.”
“This is a strange transfer period. I expected that this will be easier, but it turned up to be more difficult than ever.”
“It looks like things will be frantic in the last 3 days. Everyone who sat on their money but now its the time they will splash it all out.”
Mustafi’s transfer will be a huge help to Arsenal’s current situation. With captain Per Mertesacker sidelined until next year and Gabriel Paulista ruled out for 4 weeks, Arsenal could certainly use a help on their paper-thing defense now.
