Chelsea bid £30m for Alessio Romagnoli and this Happen….

Chelsea offered AC Milan £30m for centre-back Alessio Romagnoli, and rejected by the club.

AC Milan do not wish to sell the 21-year-old Italian this window.

Romagnoli joined Milan £21m last summer, and since appear 34 times for the club. Italy media was singing praise about him and even compared him with great defenders such as Alessandro Nesta and Thiago Silva.

Chelsea coach Antonio Conte has stressed the need for the team to get a new defender after the 2 – 1 match against Watford  last Saturday.

“If you look at our team now, you will realized we only have 5 defenders, 4 started today and an academy player player Ola Aina.”
