The Euro 2016 quarter-finals are set.

We saw some interesting Round of 16 games, but now it’s time for the final eight. Croatia were left frustrated after winning their group but falling to Portugal. Republic of Ireland came so close to sending France home, and no words can describe Iceland’s achievement to knock out England.

Waiting ahead are four interesting quarter-finals games. Here’s the full schedule.

Poland vs. Portugal — Friday , July 01 , 03:00

Both teams have to view this as a great opportunity. Neither side has anything to fear. Poland are lining up against a Portugal team that is yet to win a game in 90 minutes. They drew all three group games before scoring a late extra-time winner against Croatia.

Poland hardly strike fear into their opponents, either. They required penalties to advance past Switzerland.

This game features two star players who have failed to live up to expectations so far. Robert Lewandowski has drawn a blank for Poland, and Cristiano Ronaldo has largely disappointed.

Wales vs. Belgium — Saturday , July 02 , 03:00

Wales’ story to the quarter-finals has been a great one to watch, and they truly have a shot of going far in this tournament. Wales are rock solid at the back and have the X-factor in Gareth Bale when going forward. Bale and Aaron Ramsey can cause Belgium problems, and the Belgians surely won’t have it as easy as they did against Hungary.

Belgium will be favorites to make the Euro 2016 final on their side of the draw, but Wales can cause them problems in what should be an entertaining game.

Germany vs. Italy — Sunday, July 03 ,  03:00

This is without doubt the game of the quarter-finals. Italy have been outstanding in this tournament and were too classy for the defending European champions Spain. Italy don’t have the best squad, but they might have the best team.

Germany won the World Cup two years ago and are beginning to heat up. Slick passing, good soccer and finally a finisher up front in Mario Gomez makes them the team to beat.

This game should be fascinating. Both teams are tough to break down and have quality on the break.

France vs. Iceland — Monday , July 04 , 03:00

Can Iceland’s heroic journey continue? They are unbeaten in four games at Euro 2016 and stunned England with a 2-1 win. They now take on the hosts France.

Here’s what makes it interesting: France have looked nervous and anxious playing in front of their home fans. Iceland have nothing to lose. They have already majorly overachieved. Could they pull off another stunning upset?
