Eden Hazard has demanded his Belgium side show greater consistency after they came from behind to beat a spirited Norway 3-2 in their final warm-up game before Euro 2016.
Marc Wilmots side took an early lead after three minutes, when Everton striker Romelu Lukaku hit a fierce effort for his 15th international goal in 46 appearances.
However, for all the attacking talent on display in Brussels, it is the defence which, shorn of Manchester City captain Vincent Kompany, remains susceptible under pressure, as goals from Joshua King and Veton Berisha put the visitors ahead.
But Hazard and substitute Laurent Ciman replied with headers in quick succession to seal the win and the Chelsea attacker wants the second-half showing to be replicated in France.
‘We are showing at times that we are a good team and sometimes we are less good,’ Hazard told RTBF.
‘I know there is quality in the group, but we can do better and we ought to have more good moments.
‘If we make the same efforts as we did in the second half and everyone is available, we can do that.’
Continuing his renaissance after a difficult season with his club, Hazard – who struck his eighth goal in his last five games for his country, commented on his effort which drew the sides level.
‘This was the first and hopefully not the last goal with my head, even if it is rare to see me score with that part of the body!’
Dubbed the ‘golden generation’, Belgium kick-off their Group E campaign against Italy on June 13.
